The Election Commission banned BJP’s Gujarat leader Jitubhai Vaghani from crusading for 72 hours for utilizing “over the top and oppressive language” at an election meeting.
Mr. Vaghani was prohibited for utilizing harsh and offensive language while tending to party workers and voters at Amroli in Surat on April seventh. This episode has damaged the survey code and election commission was assessing the case with video and other evidence. On May 1st, Election commission has banned Mr. Vaghani for 72 hours, In which, he can’t hold any open gatherings, open parades, street shows and meetings, open expressions in the media (electronic, print or social media) to promote his political party.
His restriction will be forced from 4.00 pm on May 2nd, The ban won’t have an enormous impact in Gujarat as Lok Sabha decision in Gujarat was held in a single phase on April 23rd.
