Karnataka crisis: BSP lone MLA who earlier extended support to Kumaraswamy government will skip floor test tomorrow

A major setback for the JD(S)-Congress coalition in Karnataka after BSP’s lone MLA in the state refused to come for floor test tomorrow. Earlier MLA Mahesh extended hi support to Kumaraswamy government, but now it seems like he is in no mood to go for a floor test. He said Mayawati’s BSP has asked him to abstain from voting in the floor test on Monday.

Speaking to India Today TV, N Mahesh said, “I had my personal work so I couldn’t go to the session. My high command has told me to abstain from voting on trust motion so I won’t attend the session on Monday and Tuesday. I’ll be in my constituency.”

Mahesh was missing from the Assembly this week when the drama was taking place. However, his absence can be dangerous for the Kumaraswamy government. 15 MLAs have already resigned from the government which led to blunder in Karnataka politics.
