In a letter, addressed to Mumbai Commissioner of Police, 10 rebel Karnataka Congress-JD(S) MLAs said, “We are staying at Hotel Renaissance Powai in Mumbai. We have heard HD Kumaraswamy and DK Shivakumar are going to storm the hotel. We feel threatened. Do not allow them to enter hotel premises.”

As per the letter, MLAs are not willing to meet Kumaraswamy and DK Shivakumar and want police not to allow them in hotel premises.

The signatories of the letter were Shivram Hebbar, Pratap Gowda Patil, BC Patil, Byrati Basavraj, S T Somshekar, Ramesh Jarkiholi, Gopalaiyya, H Vishwanath, Narayan Gowda and Mahesh Kumutali.
